Gary “Smokey” Seamans has been an active leader in Catholic scouting since 2003, and earned the Bronze Pelican Award in 2006. He is an active member in the troop’s Charter Organization, the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Hugon Council 3521. Smokey is also a proud member of the Bobwhite* Patrol from Woodbadge class SR-807. Smokey and his wife Amy have two boys in the troop.
Prior to joining the troop in 2008, Smokey served as Cubmaster for Pack 118. As a Cub Scout leader, he worked with many of the boys who currently make up Troop 118’s roster and looks forward to the opportunity to be the Scoutmaster at their Eagle ceremonies.
*Note: When wearing their field uniform, Bobwhites from the 807th insist on being called “Robertwhites.”
