Scouting is a fun filled and interesting program where you can meet new friends, experiences and skills. Scouting also provides rewards like badges you get for working on and learning specific skills and ranks for participating and working on specific merit badges and skills along with service hours. Eagle is the last and final rank you can get as a scout and the most difficult you have to get multiple different type of merit badges, service hours, hold a rank in your troop, and do an eagle project.

This all sounds like a lot but I’m not intending to talk about the importance of the eagle project or scouting but about not procrastinating on getting your eagle. I have two reasons why you shouldn’t procrastinate getting your eagle; getting your eagle takes time to get with all the merit badges, service hours, and the eagle project this isn’t going to be like your essay you wrote an hour before it had to be turned in. Finally, there are your parents you probably don’t what your parents hounding and nagging you to get your eagle done and they will trust me I have some first-hand experience in that it’s not fun so save yourself the trouble and try not to procrastinate on your eagle.
